I wanted to take a moment to let you know about what a huge impact your GORGEOUS magna tiles have made in my preschool classroom during this unprecedented time. Everything had to be plastic so they could be washed and dried prior to the next student's use. I saw this coming and I knew I needed a replacement for blocks. When school started, we had individual bins for our students to take to their designated, socially distanced spots. They would be interested in those bins for 5 minutes at most. 30 seconds sometimes. Except for the bins of magna tiles. They did not get tired of those. So...we put your magna tiles in every bin! The barn went in with the farm animals, the castle with the princesses, the rocket with the Star Wars figures. Sometimes, things that didn't even make sense-the lemonade stand with the superheroes, the school with the dinosaurs, etc. We have over 40 bins and so we had to split up the sets. Even if there are only 5 magna tiles in each bin, it has been enough to satisfy them. They have been engaged ever since for the entire play time with one bin because they can build and create! That is TREMENDOUS! Not only are students engaged, but this has made our safety compliance manageable. Every day we put everything into mesh bags and into the school's dishwasher in the kitchen. The tiles stick together, but they are wet in between so I know they are getting the cleaning and sanitizing. They have not faded or weakened in any way. We simply dry them off and rotate them around the bins. Students are happy and staff are happy. Thank you so very much for this AMAZING & HIGH QUALITY product.
